Affilate Takeover Attendee App Terms of Use

These terms and conditions govern the purchase and use of tickets for any and all Affiliate Takeover conferences, organized by Scalers - FZCO (referred to as "we," "us," or "our").

1. Access & Eligibility

Access to the Affiliate Takeover Event App (“App”) is restricted to registered attendees, sponsors, exhibitors, speakers and authorised partners of the event.Access is granted via the email address associated with a valid event ticket.Login access is personal and may not be shared. Affiliate Takeover reserves the right to suspend or terminate access at its discretion, including in cases of misuse, ticket transfer, or breach of these Terms.

2. Acceptance of the Attendee Terms

By using the App, you agree that you will not:

- Send unsolicited bulk messages or spam
- Attempt to bypass messaging controls or rate limits
- Harass, intimidate or abuse other users
- Promote illegal, misleading or unethical marketing practices
- Scrape, copy, export or systematically harvest attendee data
- Use bots, automation tools, scripts or data extraction methods
- Misrepresent your identity, company or ticket type
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the App infrastructure

Affiliate Takeover reserves the right to restrict or revoke access without notice where these Terms are breached.

3. Profiles, Messaging & Meeting Requests

Users are responsible for the accuracy of the information they provide in their profile.

Messaging within the App is controlled and request-based. Direct messaging is only enabled once a request has been accepted.

Affiliate Takeover does not actively monitor private communications between users but reserves the right to investigate reports of misuse.

Meeting scheduling functionality is provided to facilitate introductions. Users are responsible for managing their own availability and attendance.

We are not responsible for missed meetings, rescheduled meetings, or conflicts between saved sessions and confirmed meetings.

4. Business card exchange

Contact details are only shared when both users explicitly agree to exchange information via the App.

Once exchanged, contact information becomes accessible to the other user and may be exported by them.

Affiliate Takeover is not responsible for how users subsequently use exchanged contact details.

5. Data & Privacy

Your use of the App is subject to our Privacy Policy.

We collect and process personal data including:

- Name
- Email address
- Company
- Role and profile information
- Messaging activity (metadata only)
- Meeting activity
- Business card exchanges
- Badge scan records

Data is processed for:

- Event delivery
- Networking facilitation
- Meeting coordination
- Security and abuse prevention

You may request access, correction or deletion of your data by contacting info@affiliatetakeover.com

Data may be retained for a limited post-event period to enable follow-up and contact exports.

6. Push Notifications

By enabling notifications, you consent to receiving event-related updates including:

Session reminders

Meeting reminders

Important announcements

Operational updates

You may disable notifications via your device settings.

7. Intellectual Property

All event branding, logos, content, software and materials within the App remain the property of Affiliate Takeover or its partners.

No content may be copied, reproduced, redistributed or commercially exploited without written permission.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided on an “as is” basis.

Affiliate Takeover does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and shall not be liable for:

Missed meetings

Message delivery delays

Technical disruptions

Data loss caused by third-party integrations

Indirect or consequential losses arising from App use

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of any updates.
